Position Summary
As a QA Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain robust automated test suites to ensure the highest quality for our software products. You will work closely with software developers, product managers, and manual QA testers to embed quality into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).

What you'll do
Core Responsibilities
- Automation Framework Development: Design, develop, and execute scalable automated test frameworks for web, mobile, and API applications.
- Test Planning: Review product requirements and technical design documents to create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test suites into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enable continuous testing.
- Defect Tracking: Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs using tracking tools, collaborating with developers to drive resolutions.
- Performance & Regression Testing: Execute automated regression, integration, and performance testing before major product releases.
- Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high code quality and uniformity across the QA team.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience as a QA Automation Engineer or Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language, such as [Java / Python / JavaScript / C#].
- Testing Tools: Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks like [Selenium / Cypress / Playwright / Appium].
- API Testing: Strong experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like [Postman / RestAssured].
- Database Skills: Solid understanding of SQL and database queries for data verification.
- Version Control: Experience working with Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
